Our Story
Ninio Agra Studios began with a young boy in Echague, Isabela, Philippines, who fell in love with storytelling through media at just 8 years old. From editing school videos to designing and writing sports news for The Prism, the school newspaper, Ninio quickly discovered his passion for capturing moments and creating content that mattered.
In 2016, he founded the School of St. Joseph the Worker Inc. (SSJW) Documentation and Productions, where he led the school’s media team and produced documentation for events, sports, and student life. Around the same time, he joined the Municipality of Echague’s team of journalists under its Tourism, Heritage, Culture, and Arts (MCTO) office, where he was appointed to cover major cultural events — including the prestigious Miss World 2026 pageant, one of the highlights of the Mengal Festival in Echague.

As he moved to Senior High School at First City Providential College in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, his vision for media grew. It was there that he officially launched Ninio Agra Studios, driven by a simple belief: that great stories should be shared, and local culture deserved to be seen on a global stage.

Starting with local government partners like the Local Government of San Jose del Monte (SJDM), Tourism Office, Ninio Agra Studios created travel‑style videos designed to help local businesses recover and thrive during the pandemic — while also promoting SJDM beyond the Philippines. The studio was also appointed as the official media partner for the Tanglawan Festival, one of Bulacan’s most vibrant celebrations.

This early success led to official media partnerships with other nearby municipalities, including the Local Government of Plaridel, Bulacan, where the studio documented and promoted the Salubong Festival. The studio also worked closely with local leaders, including the Congresswoman of the 1st District of Bulacan and the Mayor of San Jose del Monte, producing official campaign materials, event coverage, and community outreach content that highlighted Bulacan’s heritage and development.

Over time, the studio also expanded into high‑profile commercial and talent work in the Philippines. Ninio Agra Studios served as the official videographer for Sanya Lopez, one of GMA Network’s most acclaimed talents, producing professional content, and promotional campaigns for her brand. The studio also created advertising content for major brands such as McDonald’s Philippines, helping bring Filipino campaigns to life with a cinematic, authentic touch.

Always pushing boundaries, Ninio ventured into film production as Director of Photography with his first feature‑length project, Senaculo Filipino. A large‑scale production that brought together over 250 cast and crew members. The film was later released on online streaming platforms under the Diocese of Malolos, Bulacan, and cemented his reputation as a storyteller with a big vision.

Parallel to his creative work, Ninio continued his studies in Digital Cinema and Computer Engineering at Far Eastern University. When the pandemic hit, he saw an opportunity to expand his perspective and pursue international education, leading him to Canada. He moved to Edmonton, Alberta to study Business Administration and Management at NorQuest College, bringing with him just one camera and a dream.

At first, he thought his event and film work would stop in a new country. But then, he was invited to cover a major Filipino concert in Edmonton: Al James, produced by Broadway/Himig Productions in 2023. That show reignited everything. From that moment on, Ninio Agra Studios quickly became known for capturing the electric atmosphere of concerts, cultural nights, and community events across Alberta.

Over time, Ninio Agra Studios evolved into a full‑service media production house — producing original films, corporate content, and branded storytelling, while serving as the official videographer and media partner for large‑scale events like BINIverse Edmonton and Air Supply's 50th Anniversary Tour.

Today, Ninio Agra Studios is still driven by the same passion that started it all: capturing real moments, elevating talent, and creating content that resonates with audiences long after the final frame.
