A compelling drama written and directed by Marky Hugh, with editing and sound design by Ninio Agra.
The story follows Walter, a perfectionist photographer struggling under the pressure of an impatient boss and the aftermath of his personal mistakes. When his wife Ava leaves with their daughter Raine after discovering his affair with Matthew, Walter’s life unravels further. With Matthew’s final confession that only intensifies Walter’s loneliness.
Edited with an observational touch, the film embraces silence, stillness, and imperfect timing to capture raw human emotion.
A collaboration between Marky Hugh Productions and Ninio Agra Studios, EMPTY FRAMES is set to premiere at the 2026 Toronto Film Festival, Cineplex across Canada and will be submitted to film festivals worldwide.

Cup of Joe is a beloved Filipino pop-alternative band formed in 2018 in Baguio City, known for heartfelt hits like “Tingin” and “Multo.” Blending nostalgic melodies with modern pop sensibilities, they’ve become one of the most exciting voices in the OPM (Original Pilipino Music) scene.
Stardust: The Canada Tour Documentary offers an intimate look into Cup of Joe’s journey across Canada — from the electric energy of Vancouver to the creative spirit of Edmonton and the vibrant heart of Toronto. The film captures their behind-the-scenes moments, challenges, and triumphs as they connect with Filipino communities abroad and bring their music to an international stage.
